October 2009

Welcome to our monthly newsletter providing employers the latest news, topics & legislative alerts within the super industry.

Book now - Free workplace education

With annual statements recently mailed, you may find employees are more interested in their super at the moment, and looking for a quick and simple way to have their questions answered.

That's where we can help. We have established a Member Services Team# specifically to provide support for employers via free workplace education seminars.

The sessions are simple and interactive, and we have found employees really appreciate the initiative of having these sessions provided in the workplace.

We tailor our seminars for your employees, and can run the sessions at a time that best suits you.

Please email us and a consultant will contact you to discuss the options in more detail.

A Super ride - supporting cardiac research

Next month, our National Sales Manager, Mark Ashburn will be riding from Melbourne to Sydney to raise money for the heart condition, cardiac arrhythmia.

'Cardiac arrhythmia' refers to conditions in which there is abnormal electrical activity in the heart. "It is a condition that affects more than 500,000 Australians and yet we don't really know that much about it" Mark says.

Riding alongside Mark will be a small team who will take approximately 7 days to complete the 1,150km journey.

If you would like to know more about Mark's super ride and make a donation, visit www.paceline.com.au
