Employer Information

Making contributions

Employers must make regular super contributions for all eligible employees. We understand that this can be a big task, so we endeavour to make it as easy for you as possible.

Accountants Super gives you a choice in how you make contribution payments:

  1. BPAY or Direct Debit via eSuper for Employers
  1. BPAY / Direct Credit / Cheque / Money Order

 

1. BPAY or Direct Debit via eSuper for Employers

For a fast and easy way to make contributions, you can log into eSuper for Employers and send us all the information in one easy step. This is a fast and efficient way to submit your contributions to Accountants Super.

You simply enter the contribution amounts for each employee and submit it to us.  You can even save your work and finish it later!  You don’t need to send us a separate breakdown of contribution amounts for each employee once you’ve completed it in eSuper.

Depending on your payroll system, employers with a large number of employees may be able to upload contribution files directly. Please contact our Customer Service Centre if you are interested to know more about this option.

Once you have submitted the contribution breakdown via eSuper, you can make the payment by BPAY or direct debit.

BPAY

Using the BPAY facility, you can immediately transfer the exact amount of your contribution using your phone or internet banking service and the BPAY number provided within eSuper. Our bank will notify us the next day and we'll process your contribution the following night.

Direct Debit

If you choose to use direct debit, we will use the contribution information you provided to deduct the correct amount from your nominated account the following business day. So your payments are done immediately without any extra effort by you.

While you are in eSuper for Employers to make payments, you can also:

  • make changes to current employee details such as address and Tax File Number
  • add new members
  • terminate existing members

 

2. BPAY / Direct Credit / Cheque / Money Order

Alternatives to using Accountants Super’s eSuper facility are BPAY, direct credit, cheque, or money order.   Often employers have a preference for making payments using a specific payment method, so we have provided a broad range of payment methods to accommodate this.

If you choose to use one of these payment options, you need to provide us with a breakdown of contributions for each employee.  This breakdown can be provided to us in a number of ways:

Email

The contribution data can be sent in an excel spreadsheet, csv file, or a file exported from your payroll system.  Our email address is info@accountants-super.com.

New Members can be included, similar to existing members. It is essential that you provide us details so we can confirm the employee is not an existing member. Please use this Data Guide to ensure that all the necessary information is provided.

Mail or Fax

You can complete the Contribution Return Form sent to you each month, and mail or fax it to us at:

Alternatively, you can print information from your payroll system, or provide data in another organised manner and mail or fax this. Please download this Data Guide and ensure that all the required information is provided.

If you are making a payment via BPAY or Direct Credit and are unsure of the relevant reference / bank account numbers, please call our Customer Service Centre 1300 651 331.  Cheques and money orders should be payable to ‘Accountants Super’, and sent to the address above with your contribution breakdown.
